Tamarack Goldrush Texas Tea, "Tex" is a absolutely gorgeous brindle male pup we acquired from Carole Smith of Tamarack Mastiffs.   Tex is a natural lovebug, his temperment is gentle and sweet, you never see him not wagging his tail and wanting to plant a kiss on you.   Tex has tremendous substance and bone, beautiful dark pigment, moderate angulation, nice fluid movement with reach and drive, dead level topline, level bite and an absolutely gorgeous typey head.  He will be slow to mature, as now at 48 months is  34.5" at the shoulder and is just over 220 lbs.  He still has a lot of filling out to do, and should mature to be like his father Reno, "MM Tamarack Renasiannce Man", uncle Shaq, "CH Mystery Mountains Shaq Attack",  and uncle Louie, "CH Mystery Mountains Ready To Rumble" who was the Mastiff entry's, 2004 Best Opposite Sex Winner at the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Show.  Tex is a triple line bred grandson of the late Hank, CH. Gropetti's Lord Henry of MMRB, a massive fawn male owned by Clark Henderson of Mystery Mountain Mastiffs, and the late Semper Fi's Lady Rosalie also of MM Mastiffs, who was possibly one of the largest bitch's of her time then and now.  Improvements on Tex would be to add  more rear angulation, widen up the body as a whole through shoulders and rear, deepen the brisket while maintaining bone and body length, maintain or improve head size.

NOTE: Tex at 6 years old has been neutered mainly to save him mentally and physically,  as he is a true stud dog and tends to lose weight and pine away  when bitches are in heat.  Rather than put him through any more stress than necessary we decided he will live out his days as a grand old boy and his days of fresh collections are ended.  He is collected and frozen with excellent semen counts and very high motility.  If you are interested and would like consideration  in breeding to Tex please email a pedigree, pictures, video and health testing as well as improvements you would like to make on your bitch.

Tex is offered for stud to suitable bitches of  merit who are looking to add substance, bone, height, and pigmentation to their breeding program.  Frozen and fresh chilled semen is available on request.  Bitches must be free of and have had a current Brucellosis test prior to consideration.

Truly a "TEXAS" sized fan club...these kids we did not know, just stopped by to say hello and stayed with Tex until he was well into dreamland...he would shift occasionally for a leg stretch while the girls gave him cheek kisses and lots of hugs.
