| It is with sad regret to announce the passing of Ms. Carole Vivonia on December 11, after a lengthy illness. She was a long time MCOA member, Mastiff enthusiast, dovoted Mastiff owner and friend to myself and many others. She had and bred some very beautiful dogs many of which are still thriving today. Carole's zest for life and her compassion and knowledge of the Mastiff breed was evident any time you spoke with her. I am truly honored to have known her and have had the honor of her friendship. She will be greatly missed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Mr. Bentley has been put to rest with the passing of his faithful and devoted owner, Carole Vivonia on December 11. He was 11.5 years old and still very noble to the end. What a magnificent dog and a wonderful representative of the Mastiff breed. Mr. B, you will be missed. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| The series of random pictures were taken April 7, 2006 on a visit with Mr. B and his momma, Carole. Mr. B has a birthday in May and will be 11 years old. He is aging gracefully and is still the silly, playful boy he once was. He met me with tail wag and a "Hi, how are ya?" it was obvious he never met a stranger. It was a pleasure seeing a Mastiff with such dignity and knowing that he is a champion in all regards makes the effort towards research in Mastiff health so worthwhile. It was a privilege to see such a great boy, still a champion in every sense of the word. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
